The new Go Math! curriculum incorporates online resources to accompany the student's learning. We will be using the online resources to help support students in their learning. Below is an overview of the website and how to use it.

Things to Do:
This tab will have any assignments assigned to your student. Each assignment will have a due date listed. After the due date, the assignment will no longer be available for students to view. If you click on an assignment, it should open in a new window. Follow the on-screen instructions to navigate through the questions.
  • Students may pause their assignment by clicking the "Save & Close" button on the lower right hand side.
  • When students have completed the assignment, they must click the "Turn it in" button on the lower right hand side.

This tab will allow students to view their grades of finished assignments.

My Library

This tab has resources to help students learn and practice skills. Below is an explanation of each resource.

Go Math! Animated Math Models, GK

  • This resource will help students work on specific math skills.
  • Once you open the resource, you will be able to select a skill that your child wants to work on.
  • Select different skill tabs (ex. 11-20, 21-30, etc.) to view all of the skills available.
  • Select the skill you want to work on (it should turn red) and then click go (at the bottom of the page).
  • Follow the on screen instructions.

Go Math! CA Reteach Book (SE), GK

This resource will open a PDF that will provide extra practice of concepts taught. If your student is struggling with math, these practice sheets are the perfect tool to help your child get more practice at home.

  • Once you open the resource, you will see a list of chapters.
  • Select the chapter/topic that your child wants to get some extra practice in.
  • Find a page you want your child to work on.
  • Print the practice sheet and have your child complete it.

Go Math! CA Enrich Book (SE), GK

This resource will open a PDF that will provide extra practice of concepts taught. If your child needs more challenge in math, these practice sheets are the perfect tool to help your child get a challenge at home.

  • Once you open the resource, you will see a list of chapters.
  • Select the chapter/topic that your child wants to get some extra practice in.
  • Find a page you want your child to work on.
  • Print the practice sheet and have your child complete it.

Math on the Spot Videos

This resource will give students a short video tutorial of material covered in each lesson. If a student is confused with a homework assignment, this is a fabulous resource to help them complete the assignment.

  • Once you open this resource, you must click on your child's grade level (Grade K) to open a list of chapters.
  • Select the chapter your student is on to open a list of lessons.
  • Select the lesson your child is on to open the video tutorial for that lesson.

Math Concept Readers, GK

This resource has three different versions of a book that has to do with math concepts. Each book has a below level reader, an on grade level reader, and an advanced reader. These books can be used as extra reading practice for your child, as well as a math concept aid.

Mega Math

This resource has different games for your child to play and help them with their math skills.

  • Once you open the resource, you will be able to select a category (i.e. Country Countdown and Numberopolis).
  • Select a category and then select a topic that your child wants to work on.
  • NOTE: Mega Math looks the same for all grades K-5. The concepts on this resource cover anything from counting numbers to multiplying and dividing fractions. Below are a few topics that are appropriate for the Kindergarten level.
    • Country Countdown> Block Buster> A, B, or C
    • Country Countdown> Counting Critters> A, B, C, or D
    • Country Countdown> Clock-A-Doodle-Doo> A, B, C, D, E, or F
    • Numberopolis> Cross Town Number Line> A, B, or C
    • More to come!

Go Math! Multimedia eGlossary, K-6

This resource is a glossary of terms that your student will need to complete assignments. Terms are discussed within each chapter, but some terms will be used throughout the chapters and may not be re-defined in new chapters. Students may use the eGlossary to find the meaning of terms.

  • Once you open this resource, you must click on your child's grade level (Grade K) to open the list of terms.
  • Terms will be listed on the left hand side. When you click on a term, the definition will appear on the right hand side.

iTools Primary

Think of this resource as a digital manipulative. Your student may use this to practice specific skills such as, counting, adding, etc. Have fun exploring this resource and using the different manipulatives.

Reflex Math

Reflex Math is a website that will allow students to build their fluency in math facts.

Click "LAUNCH" in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

  • A new window should appear and you will enter "salexander1" "anamountain" or "eshoemake" for the username. 
    • Then select "Mrs. Alexander's Kindergarten Class" "Mrs. Mountain's Kindergarten Class" or "Mrs. Shoemake's Kindergarten Class"
    • Then select your child's name and enter their password.
      • Passwords were sent home with the Technology Homework.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to practice your math skills.
