We are in the home stretch!
During these last 2 weeks of school
we will be working on our play,
finishing our books,
and enjoying some fun days.
There will be NO homework for the rest
of the year except for reading and practicing math facts.
We are done with half sheets as well.
I will contact you if there is an issue.
Mark your calendars for:
Pioneer Day - May 17th
come dressed up like a Pioneer!
Field Day - May 21st
wear tennis shoes and sunscreen
Charlotte's Web play - May 24th at 2:00
parents, younger siblings and grandparents are all invited to attend.
Class party - May 25th
(last day of school and minimum day)
11:30-12:30
parents are welcome

The following is Common Core Lexile Bands:
190-450 Grade 1
450-620 Grade 2
620-790 Grade 3
770-875 Grade 4
875-980 Grade 5
995-1070 Grade 6
970-1120 Grade 7
1010 - 1155 Grade 8
If your child is in the 190-620 range, they really need to be reading
out loud to someone every night for part of their
minimum 20 minutes of reading. Thank you!
