Classroom Rules & Science "Norms"Top of Page
Students are expected to arrive at school ready to learn. Fourth and fifth grade students attend science class for an hour, twice a week. This is why it is important for students to stay on task, complete classroom assignments efficiently, and to turn in completed work with their Name, Classroom Teacher's Name and Date clearly written. These are the "Classroom Rules" and Science "Norms" (Norms are values that guide scientists' actions.) that have been discussed in class.

GradesTop of Page
Students in 4th and 5th grade receive a letter grade for Science. The grade in Science will consist of:
- participation points
- completing assignments
- tests and quizzes
